[singlepic id=1 w=320 h=240 float=left]With the focus on security for online applications and data, Evernote has made a positive addition by adding Two Factor Authentication for Premium accounts. Two Factor Authenctication (also known as 2FA or TFA) requires two things from a user to access their account: Something you know (your password) and something you have (like a changing code or security dongle). 

Evernote announced this and other security features on its blog titled Evernote's Three New Security Features . Once configured, Evernote will require a user to enter a special keycode that is sent to thier phone by tet or use the code generated by the Google Authenticator App which works the same as Dropbox. 2FA is iniitially available for Evernote Premium and Business users with free users to follow at a later date.

Additionally, Evernote has added a listing of authroized applications and access history for all users.
