One of the minor annoyances that many Outlook users encounter is the ability to easily and quickly duplicate a calendar appointment (when you don’t want to go through the steps of creating a recurring appointment) or duplicate an email message to save in multiple folders. However, there is a quick and easy way to do this (it works in other MS Office programs as well).
To duplicate a calendar appointment in Outlook 2007:

To duplicate a drawing object or image in MS Word:
This is also a handy trick to duplicate drawing objects and images in Word with one step. Using the traditional copy and paste method can be frustrating as images tend to paste themselves in strange locations depending on the layout options of the original.
Click on the drawing or graphic that you want to copy and then press [Ctrl] which will change the mouse pointer into a +. Then, simply drag the item to the spot where you want to place it.
