Windows 8 represents a radical departure from any operating system you have used previously, with the exception of Windows Phone 7 or 8. The Start button is no more, there is a new Start Screen with a totally new look than the traditional desktop in Windows 7. Even shutting down the system is done in a totally different way. Some folks are just not taking to Microsoft's new Windows 8 interface. In fact, many folks hate it and pine for Windows 7. Last week at ABA TECHSHOW 2013, several attendees during my sessions on Windows 8 asked if they could downgrade a Windows 8 computer to Windows 7. While the short answer is yes, you can generally downgrade to Windows 8, there are a number of caveats that go along with that. With the focus on security for online applications and data, Evernote has made a positive addition by adding Two Factor Authentication for Premium accounts. Two Factor Authentication (also known as 2FA or TFA) requires two things from a user to access their account: Something you know (your password) and something you have (like a changing code or security dongle).
